Next Level Sports Group (NLSG) is a baseball and softball training organization based in Dallas, Texas. NLSG exists to play a key role in the development of all athletes, their families and their communities using sports training to positively impact their lives. NLSG believes that this development should focus on the whole student: athletically, academically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually.
In today’s youth sports programs, there is such a push for a “win at all costs” coaching philosophy and making it competitive only for the “best of the best”. By using this approach, many of our young athletes are discourage to continue in the sport, or they burn out by the time they start high school and struggle with excelling in other areas of their lives.
Over the last 20 years, the NLSG coaches and staff have been a trusted source for player and coach development, having worked with over 102,000 thousand players and over 8,500 coaches through individual lessons, group training, team training, players clinics/schools/camps and coaches clinics/schools all across the country. The player, coach and organization levels that NLSG has worked with ranges from amateur youth players, coaches and leagues to veteran professionals.

*Next Level Sports Group, LLC. is also known as Next Level, NLSG, Next Level Baseball or Next Level Softball. The founder and owner of NLSG is Heath Welch, who resides in Dallas, TX. The original name for the baseball training organization and business was All-Star Baseball & Softball Camps, started in 1992. In 1999, the name was changed to Next Level Sports Group, with the intent to implement the very same values, coaching approaches and philosophies in all areas of all other youth sports.
